Are you planning ahead for your promotions?


You need to be thinking about 3 months ahead in your business.

If today is September 1st, you need to be planning your Christmas and New Year's promotions now.  It is especially important to be ahead of the curve with end of the year sales as most retailers are starting their promotions before Halloween.

If you think promotions are just for retailers, think again.  Those of us with virtual products and programs need to be setting up holiday promotions too.

The average consumer will purchase over 35% of their gifts online this year.  This opens the door for all of your products.  On top of the, there is an increasing trend of "self gifting."  This means that shoppers will buy for themselves as well as for others.

You need to position your product as a gift for others or as a "you deserve this" gift for the shopper.

No matter what you are offering, you can find a way to attract these consumers.   Use your creativity and be sure that you test out the holiday shopping season for your business.  If you don't you could be missing out on a huge percentage of the total money you will earn this year.
